Dollhouse: Opening Scene

This is the opening scene from one of the first projects I ever directed and casted, inspired by a poem by Julio Cortázar. The film explores themes of autonomy, power, and control, following a human doll—played by Greta Rustani—who only moves when manipulated by her captor. As the story unfolds, she begins to resist, slowly reclaiming her own agency.

As the director, I worked closely with the crew to develop the film’s visual language, tone, and emotional depth, ensuring that every frame captured the unsettling yet empowering journey at the heart of the story. This project was a defining moment in my growth as a filmmaker, shaping how I approach storytelling and visual composition today.
